Hopscotch Day Nurseries – Fareham

Hours: 12.5-15 hours per week
Days: Monday-Friday (between the hours of 4-7 or 3:30-6) *hours can be decided by the applying candidate*

The Role:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness of a children’s day nursery, which provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. To work in compliance with COSHH regulations, Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards. Ensure chemicals, cleaning agents and cleaning utensils which may be a danger to children, staff and visitors are locked away following use and report any maintenance issues directly to the Nursery Management team. All staff are to have an awareness of Child Protection, Safeguarding and being able to report any concerns and adhere to company Policies and Procedures.

We require all our team members to have an awareness of Child Protection, Safeguarding and being able to report any concerns, understanding the role of the DSL. All employees must undergo an Enhanced + Children DBS and will be required to sign up for the DBS Update Service.
