Position Summary:
The Horizon Therapeutics Internship Program offers aspiring professionals an opportunity to build a strong foundation of business acumen, technical skills, and knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry. We are committed to providing program participants with experience-based learning, multidimensional assignments, targeted training, and continual coaching and development.
Responsibilities:
Support Horizon’s diversity & inclusion program across four strategic areas (Talent Attraction, Professional Development, Inclusive Culture and Community)
Key D&I responsibilities and activities may include but are not limited to:
Executing plans around existing programs and initiatives
Conducting research on best practices for relevant topics, and providing input to programs or initiatives in the design phase (which may include aspects of supplier diversity program and partnering with internal teams to drive diversity initiatives that our external partners)
Developing an on-campus ‘brand’ for Horizon’s university recruiting efforts (focused on diverse talent)
Participating in diversity data reporting design and/or review
Draft employee-facing communications and partner with the communications team, as needed
This role will engage with our undergrad interns, in the capacity of coach / mentor
Qualifications and Skills Required:
First year graduate student working towards a Master’s degree in Business.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Professional, proactive demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
