Hospital Cooperative Laundry, HCL, is a fast-growing provider of hospital linen with over 600 employees. HCL is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the Denver team! HCL is the top healthcare linen company in Colorado serving 90% of the Front Range.

Responsibilities:

• Daily and weekly time sheet reports preparation, audits, distribution and data entry
• Tracks, audits and report employee time off and attendance
• Verification of employment
• Payroll Manager support

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Able to communicate (verbal and written) in Spanish a plus.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical qualifications.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
• Understanding of payroll principles, state, and federal payroll laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Successful completion of background and drug testing.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday – 9:30AM – 6:00PM

Education, Work Experience & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of HRIS system.
• A minimum of 6 months working in a payroll position.
• Attention to details and high level of confidentiality.
