We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center. You will provide safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. You will assist with operating room turnover, sterile processing, inventory and supply maintenance. As an amazing addition to our team, you will uphold the HCA mission by committing to the care and improvement of human life. What you will do in this role: Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patientsAssist in overturning your operating rooms between casesPerform terminal cleaning of your surgical areaYou will maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and suppliesYou will answer phonesYou will assist with computer data entry Qualifications you will need: One year patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environmentValid BCLS Certification upon employment***online certification not acceptable. is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We serve the residents of Warren County and surrounding areas of southern Kentucky. Our center opened in the fall of 2019. We are a part of HCA Healthcare Ambulatory Surgery Divisions and the first center in Kentucky. We are located off of I-65. The center is in near the Corvette plant and Museum and Western Kentucky University. Our AAAHC certified center performs over 275 cases a month. We offer ENT, endoscopy, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics and urology services.
