Hotel Carlton Mill Looking for Head Receptionist at Christchurch Central, Canterbury Full Time

We are a family run hotel and operate 35 rooms on the prime location of Carlton Mill Corner. We need an outgoing individual for our hotel reception who will also work closely with housekeeping and ensure rooms are to a high standard for our guests. Ability to manage the ordering of linen as well as general supplies. Oversee all reservations as well as payments. Very competitive pay rate above industry average for the right candidate. 

Successful applicant will have had experience within the hotel industry especially on front desk. Knowledge of MotelMate and SiteMinder would be advantageous. You would need to ensure that standards are met so that each guest has a memorable stay at our hotel. General knowledge of the area as to direct guests to local eateries and attractions would be great. Always looking to attract new guests, as well as retain regulars, so marketing strategies to allow this would be appreciated. You will often be the first impression of the hotel so a memorable and friendly interaction is crucial.
