HouseAmp Hiring for Loan Processing Specialist at Remote Full Time

About HouseAmp:

HouseAmp is a rapidly growing startup founded in 2019. HouseAmp is not a lender. We provide innovative access to pay later funding, project management, and account connections throughout the home selling lifecycle. We are looking for an experienced Loan Processing Specialist to design loan processes and assist our team as we continue to build our marketplace automation platform.

Working at HouseAmp:

We are in search of a high-energy loan processing specialist to support lenders using our innovative platform. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have an understanding of the residential mortgage loan process. This individual will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, have a strong customer service orientation and a can-do attitude. Additionally, they will be able to provide administrative support to the Sales team.

In this position you will also:

• Assist in designing the customer experience of using pay later funding for lenders on the HouseAmp platform.
• Manage risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following HouseAmp policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive customer service orientation with all HouseAmp customers, realtors, and colleagues.
• Maintain knowledge of available loan processing procedures and general departmental guidelines.
• Collect appropriate documentation and provide support and assistance to customers and colleagues of HouseAmp.
• Communicate with realtors and/or homeowners providing timely updates and progress reports.
• Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.

This opportunity might be a good fit if you…

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 3 or more years of professional work experience.
• Have knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Understand federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
• Have 1 year of prior experience using loan processing systems.
• Have demonstrated organizational skills.
• Have strong written and verbal communications skills.

• Background knowledge in the real estate industry and/or finance industry.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment.
