Responsibilities can be, but not limited to:
Contribute to the development of the consumer marketing strategy
Partner cross-functionally to ideate, prioritize, and deliver frictionless customer experiences
Develop business case analysis and validate products and services with end customers
Create buy-in for the marketing vision both internally and with key external partners
Act as an HP Brand Ambassador and reinforce the brand at every step of product development and delivery
Direct responsibilities will vary based on hiring manager and the Marketing organization of the internship
Education
MBA students with 1st year completed, Computer Science or Marketing focus.
Job Description
Overview:
Learn and grow within HP’s Marketing Ops organization. Marketing Ops helps Marketers think, create, do, and deliver HP’s customer experience strategies and big brand/sub brand campaigns. In this role, over the next 8 months, you will be assigned to work on different projects in the MarTech space. These assignments will be something you will own end to end and grow in your learning and contributions to the team, Marketing and HP.
For Marketing Ops, we are transforming Marketing, especially digitally, through simplification, elimination, and automation of how we work. Your role to support the consumer marketing technology can take several opportunities, from process improvement to data analyst or technology development. MarTech team is focused on developing HP’s marketing technology to support marketing teams around the world, and you will partner with technical experts to learn and develop marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Responsibilities
Specific Details:
A new team is being developed to drive dramatic improvements in the consumer marketing space. We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enable marketing campaigns through several channels (Social Media, Email, Landing Pages, SMS, etc.) for all HP marketing efforts around the world. You will get exposure to the newly created content, build campaigns, and enable them programmatically. In this role, you’ll learn coding (HTML and SQL) and you’ll see real-time the results of your implementations. You will learn and focus on digital marketing KPIs to monitor performance across initiatives.
Skills Required:
Someone with a lot of attention to detail and ability to prepare summarized information.
Someone that is able to see the big picture and critically think about how to improve things. An interest in process improvement/green belt certification would be great.
Someone that has some basic technical skills (HTML, SQL, or other marketing technology).
Education and Experience Required:
University students enrolled in a master’s advanced degree program with a Marketing or Computer Science focus.
Bachelor’s degree and/or 1st year of master’s program completed.
