 About the role 

Our client NZ Manufacturing are looking for a Waterjet Operator to join their team. This role is responsible for running the cutting machine and organising incoming and outgoing material, as well as assisting with fold operations as part of the work flow.  This is a great opportunity to earn as you learn, where you will be provided with full training and the opportunity to gain some extra qualifications. 

To be successful in the position, you will have: 

• Some practical knowledge of engineering industry, relevant methods and techniques
• An Understanding of design drawings
• Proficient numerical skills 
• Logical and methodical thinking processes
• Great time management and verbal communication
• Technical aptitude
• A commitment to the highest standards of organisational performance
• An uncompromising approach to health and safety
