The Data Visualisation Intern at HRLocker is a 12-week contract with the potential to become a full-time role at HRLocker

The intern programme is a chance to get real-world experience and to also contribute to a fast-growing tech company.

The successful candidate will work with the technology division who are all remote across Ireland, the UK, Spain and Vietnam.

The pace and environment is a start-up and entrepreneurial where each member will take control of their own career at HRLocker with the guidance of the Programme lead. Our team at HRLocker includes a diverse mix of experience including strategy, marketing, sales, tech, and consulting backgrounds. An ability and an understanding that diversity in background and thought is crucial to the success of our team.

What will you do when you start?

You will help drive the continued success of our commercial initiatives by supporting our growth strategy, making data-driven decisions to support the business, and building strong cross-functional partnerships from day one.

Essential requirements:
An unrestricted work permit to work in the required jurisdiction is necessary.

You have recently graduated or are about to graduate (in the last two years) with your Degree Technology, Maths, Statistics or Science .

The confidence to communicate your ideas across to people at all levels of the business internally and externally and to back up your ideas with data, research, or experience (your believability score). We are not looking for people with just opinions we all have them, but with the conviction to back up those opinions with data, research, and truth.

As HRLocker are a fully distributed Company (everyone works from Home) you must have a secure place to work from where you can work without interruption. We will supply Laptop, desk, chair, risers etc. as required for the successful candidates as standard.

As working from home is a requirement, an ability to demonstrate how working remotely will suit you and your situation will be part of the selection process.

Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills with the want to initiate and execute/deliver on the best-agreed ideas.

Fluency in English is required

Technical requirements

Experience in a number of Databases including SQL Server, MySQL and CosmosDB

Experience using PowerBi or Tableau for BI and data visualisation

Demonstrating the benefits that R can bring to HRLocker

Knowledge of or interest in Blockchain, AI, machine learning, deep learning and statistics

Knowledge of modern JavaScript specifications

Have a good general knowledge of web development in a SAAS Environment
