Hudson have partnered with an ASX listed fintech platform to grow their team of Site Reliability Engineers. Reporting to the Lead SRE, you’ll be an important part of a tightknit team driving platform-wide improvements in stability, scalability, and reliability.

To excel in this role, you’ll have a web development background and enjoy reviewing and improving code quality, automating repetitive tasks, and improving development standards. You enjoy collaborating and have experience working with other developers and engineers to respond to critical incidents and proactively remedy areas of concern. You’ll have exposure to testing frameworks and methodologies and can write solid unit tests.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive web development knowledge including HTML, CSS, Javascript, .Net and C# ;
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture, especially Docker containers;
• Working knowledge of AWS and Postgres;
• Experience with Bitbucket or other version control tools;
• Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement and showing initiative.
