Key functions.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels of spare parts.
Implement inventory control measures and strategies to prevent stockouts and overstocking, aligning with company business model.
Warehouse Coordination:
Oversee warehouse operations and coordinate the movement of spare parts within the warehouse.
Ensure proper storage, organization, and tracking of parts to facilitate efficient retrieval and delivery, adhering to the company warehouse management guidelines.
Customer Machine Support:
Act as a primary point of contact for customers facing machine downtimes or technical issues.
Collaborate with the Spare Parts Analyst team to promptly identify required parts and provide timely solutions for machine restoration, in line with the company commitment to customer satisfaction.
Replenishment Planning:
Develop replenishment strategies and schedules to ensure the availability of spare parts for customers’ preventative maintenance activities.
Coordinate with the Service Account Manager team to align spare parts management with scheduled maintenance plans, considering SIG’s customer service objectives.
Shipment and Delivery:
Work closely with the Spare Parts Analyst team to fulfill orders and requests for spare parts.
Arrange and monitor shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to meet customer demands, reflecting the company commitment to efficient logistics.
Pricing Strategy:
Develop and implement a pricing strategy for spare parts, considering factors such as production costs, market demand, competitive pricing, and profit margins, aligning with the company pricing policies and business model.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers of spare parts.
Source new suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery, in line with the company supplier management practices.
Spare Parts Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of spare parts, including part numbers, descriptions, pricing, and availability. Regularly update and communicate the spare parts catalog to internal teams and customers, adhering to the company documentation standards.
