Description

As a Data Delivery Advisor, you liaison between business stakeholders, product teams and technology teams all supporting critical data for the enterprise. You will partner across disciplines and will be the key point of contact for business segment data office leaders, as well as data trustees and curators looking to establish or renew an approach to managing data. This includes evaluating critical data use cases, quality controls, data policies, and data governance practices. This work is highly visible and crucial to the data management transformation success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders across the enterprise to streamline engagement with the data organization, enhance processes, drive data governance practices and reduce risk
• Participate in product planning, implementation and change management in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Drive alignment with key stakeholders by articulating delivery trade-off decisions and negotiating priorities across multiple lines of business and technical teams
• Translate business goals into creative solutions that empower colleagues by enabling fast access to data and insights
• Problem solve independently or as part of a matrixed multi-skilled team on initiatives that align to the broader business, IT and enterprise data strategy
• Communicate complex processes and circumstances in technical and non-technical terms and ensure all understand the impacts
• Provide input into the creation of data product roadmaps while also defining and monitoring objectives through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Serve as a consultant on the evaluation and selection process for data asset features, integration solutions, and enhancements
• Advise on options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals while keeping security, scalability and performance in mind
• Identify technical and functional data requirements, resources and tools that may be needed to meet the needs of the users and drive teams toward implementing data solutions
• Coach / Mentor other team members as appropriate
