Description
This is an IT position where the candidate will be assigned projects that require detailed documentation to be developed and will also provide consultative support to other team members, such as technical staff and QA Analysts. In addition, coordination with cross impacted teams is required.
Detailed Description:
May work independently as representative BSA for application team, partner with other Digital BSAs, or under the direction of BSA Lead also on the project pending the size/complexity of initiative.
Collaborate with the product team, technology team, and User Experience Group to elicit/author scope document, project requirements, and Product Backlog Items (PBIs) including Acceptance Criteria.
Assess application impact at IT Scope and coordinate related estimation sessions with the project team.
Review and approve Project Scope, Requirements, Wireframes, Mockups, Content Matrix, and Test Plan.
Attend Project Status meetings for assigned projects to provide the Project Manager with progress updates.
Work closely with Project Managers and App. Development Managers to formulate target delivery dates for the Scope Document (as applicable), Requirements Doc, and PBI deliverables and then deliver according to the planned schedule.
Facilitate PBI review and estimation sessions with the project team.
During Project Lifecycle, support the development and test teams by providing requirements clarification, issue resolution, and process improvement in order to ensure the delivered product is functioning accurately and within the defined business objectives.
Provide subject matter expertise and validation support during the rollout of new functionality & during the post-deployment warranty period.
Support production support team by analyzing production issues, defining requirements for the possible fix and helping get it prioritized for development.
Attend team scrum activities such as Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Amigo Review, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
Communicate project status to manager and escalate issues impacting the project or release.
Create Process Flow Diagrams, Data Requirements modeling & Requirements Traceability Matrix as needed.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
May be asked to assist the team with coaching and IT scope call representation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have experience working on a front-end application development team.
Must work effectively in a team environment and possess a strong commitment to the team and the client.
Must have previous experience facilitating meetings/discussion groups related to requirements definition/gathering, issue resolution, and process improvement.
Knowledge of writing/understanding of detailed Use Cases. Experience with Gherkin a plus.
Experience with hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies preferred.
Experience with JIRA/TFS/Azure DevOps (ADO) a plus

Compensation Range:
100,000
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
