Description
The Huntington UX team is seeking a User Experience Manager for the Interaction Design team. The position can be remote but will work Eastern Time business hours.
In this role, you will guide designers to find the sweet spot between users’ needs and business goals. You will oversee a variety of UX initiatives across the bank including online account servicing, account origination, branch servicing, and more. Most importantly, you will play a critical role in designing solutions to help real people manage their financial well-being.

As a UX Manager, you will:
Manage, grow, and empower a team of diverse designers
Support the delivery of a complex portfolio of initiatives
Review work products and provide feedback and direction
Identify and create processes necessary to get work done
Partner with stakeholders and product owners to understand business needs
Partner with other design leaders to craft user-centered strategies
Outline activities that will clearly accelerate teams towards viable design solutions
Identify opportunities to advance our digital experiences
Build relationships with people at all levels of the organization
Partner with the Sr. UX Manager and UX Manager to build staffing plans, monitor capacity, and plan training/development activities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-factors Engineering, Library Sciences, Digital Media or equivalent related experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of digital experience design
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing design teams and leading large projects
Preferred Qualifications
Expert interaction design and information architecture skills
Outstanding organization, facilitation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience presenting to large groups including senior leaders
