Now we are looking for a Head of Education (f/m/x) to help us enable 1 million young professionals to learn the skills to succeed in the future of work and find their dream jobs by 2030.

Role overview:

This is the second education role at Hyphen and you’ll have a wide purview. It comes with both equal measures of responsibility, great opportunities to learn and to get your hands dirty and have a real impact.

You’ll lead the development and delivery of the training programmes and work closely with the operations and product programme teams to build a cohort-based learning platform enabling lifelong learning and development at work. Our courses are co-created together with industry experts (role and industry-specific) and personal and professional development coaches.

And we want you to grow into the Chief Education Officer role short-term and we will support you in your journey from day one.

What’s the role:

• Build an exceptional founding team and set up a high-performing organization of course creators, learning experience designers, course operators and community experts.
• We bet on programmes instead of short courses and your challenge will be to co-design, curate and delivery personalised learning paths that will help learners to succeed both personally as well as professionally.
• Working closely with Hyphen’s Education & Behavioural Insights Lead, CPO and Operations Lead to implement a seamless journey for the learners.
• Lead the programme design and implementation of our upcoming training programmes and help us decide on what programmes to focus on next.
• Download the knowledge of industry experts into easily digestible content and make them ready to deliver an A* instructor performance.
• Collaborate with our product team to turn learnings and insights into features for Hyphen cohort-based learning platform.
• Setting up guides and playbooks, and creating content to democratise what we know about building lifelong learning journeys.
• Establish a client-feedback practice that will allow us to incorporate feedback from partnering companies & startups into our design processes.
• Oversee the project documentation, procedures and define the best practices for the implementation of Training Programmes.

Who are you:

We know – sometimes, you can’t tick every box. We would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit!

• At least 2+ years of experience in instructional design or education content creation in ed-tech, universities, or creative organisations.
• Experience managing and implementing the end-to-end delivery of online learning programmes.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art evidenced-based learning frameworks.
• Ability to define processes and get things done in a structured and detail-oriented way.
• Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to collaborate across internal (Product, Growth) and external stakeholders (Course Facilitators, Investors, Partners).
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
• Ability to be as operational as possible with a hands-on attitude while navigating uncertainty and being able to think strategically when needed (entrepreneurial mindset).
• (Ideally) strong network of learning experience design practitioners and operators.
• (Ideally) based in London or Berlin – we’re remote by definition but aim to build hubs in London and Berlin that our future team members should join.
