Job Description

Hyundai Power Transformers, USA is currently seeking new team members to join their team in numerous areas of production. If you are seeking excellent pay, benefits, and training and you have on-time attendance habits, want to work 48-56 hours per week then consider HPT. Pay starts at 14/hr and you are eligible for a 2 dollar an hour raise progressing up to 23/hr after 5 years. Also now offering a 1000 sign-on retention bonus. We do ask that you are currently covid vaccinated or willing to get the 1st shot before beginning work if an offer is made.

Qualified candidates for the production positions will have the following combination of skills and experience:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Ability to follow written and oral instruction
• Excellent logic and reasoning skills
• 1+ years of manufacturing production experience (Electrical manufacturing strongly preferred)
• Brazing experience is a plus
• Experience in the electrical field is strongly preferred
• Must have strong Mathematical Skills – Ability to add subtract and make calculations
• Must be able to lift to 40lbs
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• 
  Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• 
  Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Working Conditions:

• Climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and carrying light to moderate loads ( 40 lbs.)
• Required to work at heights for long periods of time utilizing ladders, platforms, and lifts
• Working with electrical equipment

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Compensation:

• Earn up to $42,000 per year and a .50 shift differential! Excellent employee benefits.
• 2 dollar raise 1st year up to 23 an hour after 5 years
• 1000 sign-on bonus
