Icehouse Ventures Looking for Investor Compliance Specialist at Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Icehouse Ventures are looking for an Investor Compliance Specialist to help scale our Investor Relations function, and level up our industry-leading investor UX.

About the role:

Our Investor Compliance Specialist role is a pivotal one. Sitting at the intersection of customer service, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, you will help advance our world-leading investor experience while also ensuring rigorous compliance with all key financial regulations.

Responsibilities of the Investor Compliance Specialist include:

• Investor onboarding: help investors new to the Icehouse Ventures platform understand our onboarding requirements and support them through the process end-to-end.
• Compliance management: ensure our investor accounts (new and existing) are compliant with all relevant regulations, particularly those relating to FATCA/CRS, AML/CFT, and NZ’s ‘wholesale investor’ regime.
• Broader data collection/support: own the collection and maintenance of adjacent key data.
• Bank reconciliations: reconcile Icehouse Ventures bank accounts with the transactional data in our core investment platform, and send receipts as needed.
• Metrics: reflect and report on key metrics related to your area of responsibility, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience or create internal efficiencies.
• Change management: as/when opportunities to improve are identified, own the necessary changes to systems and processes.
