Account Executive – PCS
This role is remote and can be based in the US or EMEA
The Director, Business Development is a key role in developing new relationships with existing clients in and across the life sciences sector. This role will be responsible for business development and revenue growth across EMEA, US and APAC in the Life Sciences markets. You will manage client relationships with targeted existing portfolio accounts and develop opportunities with new divisions in order to maximize client revenue growth and overall satisfaction. He/she is an integral part of the sales team focusing on achieving enterprise client success through innovation and high-quality service delivery. Success is driven by strong communication, organizational skills, influence, and a keen ability to clearly understand client requirements, working closely with internal production teams. Proactively ensures high client retention and maximum revenue growth by working closely with project, account and solutions teams to coordinate and execute strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth programs across interconnected accounts. This includes gaining a deep and solid understanding of clients’ organizational structures, business entities, procurement processes, management objectives, general processes and product focus, as well as recognizing changing needs and expectations.
Your Background and Experience:
Bachelor or Master Degree
>5 years in the Language Service Provider industry (solution/software selling is a plus) and/or eCOA/COA background, focus on Life Science clients is a must
3-5 years of experience in business development
Experience selling Linguistic Validation, Medical Translation and non-medical translation to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare and clinical research clients.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
A true marketer – understands integrated marketing levers, customer centric; detail-oriented along with strong analytical skills and business acumen;
Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Can do attitude, quick learner, independent and self-motivate
Ability to provide clear direction, goals and objectives in a respectful manner
Ability to communicate with and lead employees through changes
Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to prioritize and coordinate competing work demands, and maintain composure under pressure
A team player who can collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
Demonstrated aptitude in acquiring/applying industry expertise successfully in sales cycle
Ability to resolve issues encountered in course of work in a professional and efficient manner.
