JOB POSTING:

Are you quick and accurate in data entry? Obsessed with details, troubleshooting, and resolving discrepancies? Icon Media Direct is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have lightning-fast data entry skills, accuracy, a detail-oriented nature, deadline driven with strong written and verbal communications skills. The Data Entry Specialist, under direction of the Director AP/AR, will work with our providers, Media Airing team, Accounting and Buyers to review and analyze advertising logs and invoicing.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Perform data entry accurately with the Media Airings team within deadlines
• Execute accurate data input and match invoices by assigned deadlines
• Maintain records and follow up on outstanding issues
• Identify discrepancies, research, and pull necessary documentation
• Demonstrate effective problem solving and investigation skills
• Assist in discrepancy resolution by contacting Buyers and providers and following up until resolved. Make any necessary adjustments and notes by established deadlines
• Cultivate strong working relationships with Buyers and stations
• Organize and file Invoices and discrepancy documentation
• Assist team in meeting monthly deadlines
• Perform back up duties as needed
• Work on other AP and/or accounting/company projects as directed
• Perform backup support and other duties outside AP as requested

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Quick and accurate data entry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel: including pivot tables & charts, Outlook)
• College experience/degree preferred
