Recruiting Service Manager
iDo Cleaning Ltd is a well-established commercial and private cleaning business in Christchurch. We have been operating in the industry since 2016 and require recruiting service managers to drive your business growth.
As our business grows, our operating hours have also extended to cover daytime, night time and the weekends (we operate six days a week from 6:30am to 21:30pm daily) to suit the needs of our customers. As a result, rare opportunities have arisen, and we are recruiting two full-time service managers.
What are your responsibilities?
You will report directly to the general manager and be responsible for a team of cleaners.
Within the business
● Leading teams of cleaners to practice jobs
● Determining the stock level of cleaning products to ensure ample stocks are available to enable the team to deliver the best standard of customer services
● Coordinating with the team to produce the staff roster
● Recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new staff for the business
● Training and supervising of the new staff to ensure service standards are met
● Liaising with the general manager and the team to ensure customer deadlines are met
● Receiving and analysing customer feedback
● Developing and reviewing training manuals to ensure materials are up to date to fit the purpose of the business
● Researching and analysing current products and services and proposing changes in accordance with the current business
● Carry out other tasks as directed by the general manager
With customers
● Dealing with first-tier customer complaint escalations
● Communicating with the customers in regard to their feedback as directed by the general manager
● Promoting and advertising new and current products and services to existing and new customers as directed by the general manager
What qualities are we looking for?
● Verifiable ability and experience in a management position
● You must have a valid driver’s license
● You must be able to work earlier morning, evening or weekend shifts
● Excellent communicator, both written and oral
● Honest, punctual and organised
● The ability to speak Mandarin would be advantageous as many of our clients speak Mandarin and have limited English
What do we offer? ● A comparative hourly rate of between $28 and $35 per hour
● A minimum of 30 working hours per week
● Four weeks paid annual leave + ten days of sick leave after six months
