About the role: *
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us in the Engineering team to drive the adoption of DevOps practices and processes within Ignition. You will be joining a growing team to meet our technology demands and involved in exciting projects including simplification of cloud infrastructure, modernisation, migration and simplification of DevOps toolsets, our team is growing to meet our technology demands.
Role location:
We are open to candidates across Australia and New Zealand. We have embraced hybrid working in all our locations; our employees have the option to work from home, an office or a blend between the two.
What your day to day will look like:

• Planning, architecting, implementing and maintaining cloud native infrastructure
• Working with the Engineering, Data, and Marketing teams to ensure our products are deployed/running in a secure manner.
• Focus on enabling and guiding delivery via CI/CD, using cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, as well as industry leading methods, skills, tools, and practices to build, deploy, maintain, and evolve applications quickly and reliably.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of the engineering practices and systems with an aim of continuous delivery
• To drive the Cloud environment, and facilitate the move from Heroku to AWS
• Build, deploy, maintain infrastructure & applications running on AWS
• Monitoring systems & applications to ensure availability
• Improve upon existing automation tools and processes
• Ensuring security is built into necessary processes
• Constantly innovate and evolve through research

Qualifications*
What you need to succeed: *

• 2+ years of devops experience
• Our ops stack is AWS, Terraform, Nomad, Vault. So any prior experience in these areas is a bonus.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Detail minded, naturally curious and keen to learn new things, passionate about technology
• Good communicator and have a strong ability to collaborate with teams to achieve successful outcomes
