IHC Group Looking for Support Worker (Awake nights) – Berhampore at Greater Kapiti Area Full Time

• 55 hours per fortnight
• Awake night shifts – 11pm – 8am – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week
• $22.70 – $28.25 per hour depending on relevant qualifications

As a Support Worker you will be supporting people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy great lives at home and as part of their community. You will be working as part of a team supporting clients with complex support needs. You will be providing the people we support with care throughout the night and supporting their individual needs.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

You Will Need To Have

• The flexibility to work Awake Night shifts from 11pm-8am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night.
• Good, clear English speaking skills.
• A calm nature and the confidence to work with challenging behaviours.
• Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
• A level of physical fitness sufficient to provide the necessary physical support and care to our clients.
• A full NZ driver’s license or the willingness to work towards obtaining one.
