iLearning Hiring for Online Debate/Speech Coach at Remote Full Time

Due to our steady growth, we are currently seeking mature online debate/speech coaches, who has strong online classroom management skills for online classes of 4 to 6 students in the afternoon of Monday to Friday, and weekends.

Coaches who have experiences with any debate competition would be given priority consideration and high pay.

The ideal candidates must have 8+ years of teaching experience, and 3+ years of recent online teaching experience, who are familiar with using Zoom, Google classroom, and have a stable internet.

Responsibilities

• The duties and responsibilities of teachers vary depending on the age and abilities of their students
• Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives
• Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units and projects
• Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students
• Creating, assigning and grading various assessments for students
• Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention
• Track students’ progress and report to administrators.
• Communicate with school administrator regularly to understand the students’ background
• Maintain a stable working schedule

Requirements

• Proven online teaching experience with debate/speech.
• Familiarity with using Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Calendar, Online tools
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• BA in education or relevant field
• Stable internet speed for daily online teaching
• Ensure teaching background is clean and not distracting
• Professional appearance while in teaching
• Available on weekends and / or on weekends.

Compensation

Pay is $25 and UP per hour. The rate includes preparation time and homework comments.
