About the Team:

Illumio’s new Machine Learning (ML) team embodies a culture of thought leadership, independence, and responsibility, holding a significant and highly visible role within our Engineering division. This dynamic team is tasked with developing state-of-the-art ML solutions for complex cybersecurity challenges. Working directly with the leadership team, the team shapes Illumio’s strategic direction and reinforces our leadership in Zero Trust Segmentation. About the Role:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping a pioneering product focused on solving cybersecurity issues faced by diverse businesses today. You will own the UI & backend design and development, to the deployment and maintenance for advanced Generative AI/ML applications. Your work will have a direct impact on our customers using the models for their infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces that provide engaging user experiences.
• Produce high-quality software designs and architecture for an interactive, user-friendly conversational interface and associated backend services
• Integrate and manage data & vector storage solutions 
• Monitoring, debugging, and fixing issues in deployed applications

Experience:

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent degree. Master’s degree a plus
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack 
• Experience with full-stack web application development in Golang or Python; or web development in another framework (like Javascript) and willingness to learn
• Experience with modern framework (Typescript, ReactJS, Redux) for user interfaces
• Knowledge of prompting and familiarity with LLM tooling like LangChain.js is preferred

Pay Range:

$122,000 USD – $140,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
