About the Role

As part of the Data team, this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects, technologies, with a diverse range of teams.

The Data Engineering team is responsible for develop and maintaining data platform that serves data requirements within the company. We architect solutions, tools and platforms to solve business needs and tools around provisioning, configuration, CICD, monitoring, SLA, performance and uptime. Our team is passionate about the details and we work very closely with a wide range of stakeholders. Moving and processing huge amount of data for providing valuable data to company and partners. Responsibilities

• Works with infrastructure team for monitoring day to day PostgreSQL and or other OLTP database systems in terms of operations and management
• Performs database capacity planning and maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning
• Work on building & maintaining data platform to support all data requirements
• Translate business requirements into data requirements, create data model based on it followed with the end-to-end data pipeline on top of managing existing data pipelines
• Deliver high quality, testable, secure, readable & scalable data solution to empower users and services with data & insight
• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and initiatives

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in Information Technology, Engineering Computer Science or related fields
• Proficient in creating and maintaining complex ETL pipeline end-to-end with high reliability & quality. Covering both batch and stream data pipeline
• 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Hands-on in building and maintaining a complete data platform using various open source technologies, such as (Airflow, Airbyte, Datahub, DBT, Redash, Superset, Spark, Presto, etc)
• Must have good fundamental hands-on knowledge of Linux and building big data stack on top of AWS/Azure using Kubernetes.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark(Scala/Java/PySpark)
• Passionate about Agile Methodology and practices (TDD, CI, CD, etc..)
