ImmyBot Looking for Frontend Developer (TypeScript & Vue.js Specialist) at Baton Rouge, LA Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript and proficiency in migrating from Vue2 to Vue3, maintaining accessibility standards, and implementing frontend test frameworks like Selenium and Cypress. As a member of our dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our applications maintain the highest quality standards while leveraging the latest features of TypeScript and Vue3.

Responsibilities:

• Complete the migration from Vue2 to Vue3, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining feature parity.
• Add accessibility tags for screen readers, Pendo and frontend testing
• Implement frontend test framework capable of recording video of the tests
• Write, test, and maintain robust, high-quality TypeScript code
• Collaborate with the backend developers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current.
• Provide code reviews and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs or other backend services.
• Participate in agile development cycles and provide estimations for tasks.
• Contribute to documentation (technical and functional) for all frontend projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in TypeScript with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Proven experience migrating applications from Vue2 to Vue3.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architectures, best practices, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with state management patterns and Pinia.
• Experience with frontend development tools such as Vite, Yarn, Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
• Strong skills in debugging and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other frontend frameworks like React, Knockout or Angular
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SCSS or LESS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
