IMP Digital Looking for Junior Social Media Assistant at Burlington, ON Full Time

IMP Digital is seeking a passionate and creative Junior Social Media Assistant to implement various social media strategies and create engaging content posts for our growing client base.

You must have the ability to multitask and work on several clients in a month, organizational and problem-solving skills and grow by achieving company objectives and goals. You must be an analytical creative thinker, with strong communication and presentation skills.

*Daily duties can include: *

– Build and execute a social media strategy
– Assist the Social Media Manager with tasks
– Create content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
– Work in CANVA, PhotoShop, or other tools
– Schedule social media posts using various applications
– Keeping track of data analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
– Monitor channels for comments and reply to consumers
– Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

*Relevant Skills: *

– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
– Facebook Ads
– Photo and video editing skills (e.g with Canva)
– Organizational skills
– Analytical ability
– An ability to multitask and work on several projects at once
– Problem-solving skills
– Working from home
– Knowledge in the various methods used to promote through social media

*Experience: *

– At least 1 year of experience as a Social Media Marketer or similar role
– Knowledge/experience with Hootsuite, Sendible or similar social media scheduling tools is a bonus

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
