We’re looking for a Fire Protection Product Sales Estimator with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working with Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Alarm Sales Estimating. Our ideal candidate will also have great communication skills, extremely motivated, and provides outstanding customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Apply knowledge of standards to analyze hazards and identify appropriate design approaches to prepare preliminary plans, understand hydraulic calculations, identify material, equipment, and price-related items to prepare detailed cost estimates.

· Prepare proposals in accordance with company policy and present bid packages to customers in a professional and timely manner.

· Actively pursue opportunities with existing and new prospective customers in an effort to continue to build the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3+ years’ experience fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm sales estimating experience.

· Familiar with reading and understanding construction documents, including bid forms, plans, specifications, contracts, purchase orders and general agreements.

· Must be familiar with standards and local codes.

· Ability to analyze hazards and identify appropriate design approaches to prepare preliminary plans, understand hydraulic calculations, identify material, equipment, and price-related items to prepare accurate detailed cost estimates.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products specifically Outlook and Excel.

· Must have the willingness to be a team player.

· Must have a valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.

· Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
