Impact Futures Hiring for Bid Writer – Training & Education sector Job at Remote , UK Full Time

The Role:

We are seeking a talented and highly committed Bid Writer to join our busy Bid team remotely. The Bid Writer is a key role in the Commercial division and will involve working closely with the Head of Bid Management and Senior Bid Writer. The ideal candidate will preferably have some knowledge and experience writing bids or proposals within the Apprenticeship, Education or Training sector.

As a Bid Writer, you will be writing compelling bids, editing, proofing and carrying out various bid administration tasks. You will quickly gain a broad understanding of the overall business and where necessary be able to immerse yourself in a particular sector and/or product, so that you can effectively translate working practice onto paper. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and experience in researching and writing, with strong attention to detail.

Working within a passionate and hard-working team, you will be expected to show high levels of commitment and initiative to help maintain the levels of work, and continue the winning success achieved by the company.

As a Bid Writer at Impact Futures and The Childcare Company, you will join a team of dedicated professionals providing apprentices and qualifications to learners in a range of sectors across England. You will:

• Be organised, hardworking and flexible as this is a fast-paced and challenging role, working to multiple deadlines.
• Have a passion for writing and be able to write creative, aspirational and meaningful submissions that reinforce our track record and solutions-focused approach to clients.
• Have excellent writing abilities, as well as strong IT, research and problem-solving skills.
• Have an awareness of adult education policy/sector (desirable but not essential)
• Be able to work independently
• Have a proven record of successfully written submissions or high-quality written outputs.
• Be able to work quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Full training and on the job coaching will be provided

The Package:

• 25 days holiday plus public and bank holidays
• Birthday day off (after probation completed)
• We provide all of your equipment (mobile, laptop, keyboard, mouse, laptop bag) which will be posted to your home a few days before you start with us
• 3% pension contribution using pension provider NEST
• 40 hour working week
