Impact Futures Hiring for CertHE Development Coach – Higher Education Job at Remote , UK Full Time

The Role:

This unique role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a newly established team to deliver a bespoke Level 4 apprenticeship which includes a level 4 Certificate in higher Education, affiliated by De Montfort University (DMU).

The successful candidate is responsible for the Functional Skills and Standard components of the apprenticeship standard (including Gateway and EPA) and will use evidence opportunities created for the CertHE and ‘map’ this evidence to the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs).

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices to deliver a quality learning experience for their Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (community) Apprenticeship Standard within their place of work, whilst providing exceptional support to both learners and employers.

You will provide learners with clear milestones and targets alongside monthly teaching sessions (remote or face to face) as well as reviewing their progress every 10-12 weeks to support their timely progression to gateway and on to successfully completing their end point assessment. You will ensure all required records are completed to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge & experience in the delivery of apprenticeship standards including functional skills
• Occupational competency and relevant qualifications in the standards in which you will be delivering (e.g at level 3 or above- NNEB/CYPW/PlayWork/Health and Social Care/Teaching assistant/) with clear and robust experience of working with Children, young People and Families in the Community
• Strong organisational skills and be able to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks
• Have a full driving license and use of a car with business use insurance
• Understand the importance of confidentiality and GDPR
• Knowledge of ESFA funding rules relating to apprenticeships
• Have a good understanding of the OfSTED Education Inspection Framework

Essential/desirable:

• Assessor Qualification e.g., D32/D33, A1 or CAVA
• PTLLS/AET or equivalent teaching qualification
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent and prepared to take reformed Functional Skills L2
• IQA qualification is advantageous but not essential
