The Role:

We are recruiting for a Early Years Development Coach to join our Childcare team. As a Development Coach you will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices to deliver a quality learning experience for their L2 Early Years Practitioner and L3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard within their place of work, whilst providing exceptional support to both learners and employers. This may include learners on a Diploma only basis.

You will provide learners clear milestones and targets alongside monthly teaching sessions (remote or face to face) as well as reviewing their progress every 10-12 weeks to support their timely progression to gateway and on to successfully completing their end point assessment.

You will support each learner’s maths and English journey including functional skills if required and support any additional learning needs, they may have. You will ensure all required records are completed to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge & experience in the delivery of apprenticeship standards including functional skills

• Proven occupational competency in the standards in which you will be delivering

• Be able to confidently deliver teaching through online learning platforms and onsite visits

• Possess a motivational personality that will inspire others

• Possess good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills including Microsoft Office programs and hold own Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2

• Approachable, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational skills and be able to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks.

• Have a full driving license and use of a car, as well as full motor and home insurance for business use

• Access to a reliable Internet connection at home

• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and customers to identify new business opportunities

• Have a good understanding of the EIF framework and how this underpins the practice of a development coach and the training organisation that they work within

• Have a good understanding of Awarding Organisation and EPAO requirements

Desirable but not essential:

• Assessor Qualification E.G D32/D33, A1 or CAVA

• PTLLS/AET or equivalent teaching qualification

• IQA qualification an advantageous but not essential
