About The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an IT Field Technician to play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support to our clients.

In this role, the IT Field Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, implementing network solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Further to the above some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• User support both over the phone and in person
• Ensure all hardware/software installations and routine upgrades are implemented according to Service Level Agreements
• Accept and take ownership of assigned technical issues
• Provide onsite support as required to all sites
• Monitor incoming IT equipment requests
• Follow asset management process

About You

• A full NZ drivers licence
• Results-driven professional
• Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware
• Ability to perform application software testing
• Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft’s desktop operating systems
• Strong remote trouble shooting skills
• Understanding of network fundamentals
