Indagare Looking for Front-End Developer Intern at New York, NY Full Time

Indagare is seeking a passionate Front-End Developer Intern who is ready to work on an exciting platform in the travel space. The Developer Intern will be a core member of a rapidly growing software development team to help build innovative, brand-forward digital platforms for our members and internal staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop clean, top-quality user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Work as part of a team to deliver solutions using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Break down complex product requirements, providing development estimates as needed
• Collaborate with the product team to work through product direction including producing functional prototypes for review
• Deliver high quality code that has been thoroughly tested

What You’ll Bring:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Web UI development using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
• Familiarity with pure JavaScript as well as libraries such as Angular, Bootstrap, React etc.
• Passion for creating responsive websites that delight users across desktop and mobile
• Comfortable working with REST and JSON
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical capability, independent thinking and good decision-making skills
• Preferred qualifications include experience working in a Unix environment, with the LAMP stack, with database technologies (e.g. MySQL, Postgresql) and with mobile app development (Swift, Java)
• Prior experience with front-end development projects or personal coding projects is advantageous.
• Some experience in a remote working environment is advantageous
