Hiring Immediately – We are hiring Sit Down Forklift Drivers for our dynamic, client in LaVergne, TN.

Pay rate: $15 per hour – TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY!

Summary:

Under general supervision, supports production and maintenance by maintaining an accurate material inventory in the computer system and on paper. Accurately maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, and conduct cycle counts daily. Strict Inventory Control Procedures will be adhered to. This position involves the operation of electric and propane-powered industrial vehicles (Tow Motors)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin
• Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer system
• Process materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags
• Pull the appropriate material and transfer to the required location
• Conduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned area
• Load and unload trailers and flatbeds as required Resolve inventory discrepancies
• Perform as a Class A Driver
• Has the Authority and Responsibility to report a non-conforming product

Qualifications:

• Mechanically adept
• Attention to detail
• Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Able to read all precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret specifications
