Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Leader, you will ensure best practice financial processes and work closely with the board & leadership teams to sustain absolute credibility across our key finance functions – reporting, controls, payroll, tax, treasury, foreign exchange and insurance.

• Manage a team of 17 (including 3 direct reports)
• Ensure accurate & compliant financial reporting & annual audit, strong internal controls and efficient transactional processes
• Oversight and expert management of the company treasury, tax & insurance functions
• Optimise your function in line with our strategic objectives

Our current Group Financial Controller is stepping into a Finance Transformation & strategic projects role. You will manage all financial BAU and day to day finance optimisation in line with our strategy.

What You Need To Be Successful

In addition to proven experience as a Group Financial Controller, you will bring –

• A background in FMCG or manufacturing and the relevant complexities
• Strong ability to lead, inspire and motivate a high performing team with a continuous improvement culture
• Understanding of inventory valuation and costing processes
• Present complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and simple way
• Acumen across business as well as financial issues
• Flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week
