Indevin Group Looking for Vineyard Mechanic – Marlborough at Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand Full Time

The successful candidate is essential in supporting the reliable operation of vineyard machinery. This position involves working on an interesting variety of tasks and machinery.

• Responsible for completing repairs and maintenance on all vineyard machinery to a professional high standard to ensure when machinery is required it is safe and reliable to do the job its required for.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, pre-season maintenance, assembly of machinery and responding to breakdowns.
• Complete accurate service records as required to support the Maintenance operations.
• Follow preventative maintenance plans, systems and budgets to ensure machinery is safe, maintained on time and to the required high standard.
• Engage with service provider contractors as required.
• Contribute to improvements and projects to further improve the machinery operations.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have the following:

• Clean Class 1 Drivers Licence
• Desirable to have Mechanical, Engineering trade qualification or relevant skills.
• Vineyard machinery experience would be advantageous but will consider someone with relatable skills or experience.
• 3 years mechanical or engineering industry experience preferred.
• A good range of repair skills is desirable including mechanical, electrical and basic engineering.
• Good attention to details.
• Good work ethic a team player and reliable.
• Willingness to learn and develop with new machinery advancements.
• Good attitude to workplace health and safety.
