Short Description:

In the role of Technology Lead, you will be expected to develop bespoke applications in the mining domain. This role will interface with client and elicit technical requirements, design and develop technical components.

Roles and Responsibilities:
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:

• Must be able to help refine requirements.
• The ability to manage deliverables (prioritisation, estimation, etc.)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment tooling like Team City, etc.
• Experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Familiarity with design patterns and best practice trends.
• Experience in full stack development in the mining domain.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a full stack developer
• Extensive experience in application design, development and testing.
• .NET, C# (5+ years’ experience)
• AngularJS (3+ years’ experience)
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, XML (3+ years’ experience)
• jQuery, AJAX, JSON (3+ years’ experience)
• Microsoft SQL Server, experience with PL/SQL (5+ years’ experience)
• Tools like GitHub, JIRA and Confluence

Preferred:

• Prior application development experience in mining operations.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Knowledge of Agile software development and project management

Additional Skills:

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
