Location: Onsite – Sydney

Short Description:

Java Developer role Australian client in Sydney, to work on product integration & implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze the requirements and come up detailed technical design documents
• Incorporate the code changes to meet the detailed technical design requirements
• Ensure adequate Unit Testing coverage
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily scrum & retrospective
• Review other teams’ output – Requirement Documents, System Test Scenarios etc

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

• Solid understanding of Systems engineering concepts and principles
• Experience working on complex integration solutions – Strong understanding of SOAP / XML / API / REST / MQ based integration patterns
• Core Java, should have development experience on Java / J2EE platforms
• Maven experience dealing with build and packaging
• Oracle database design / development experience
• Linux understanding, Shell scripting knowledge / understanding / experience

Preferred:

• Python scripting knowledge / understanding / experience
• Groovy scripting skills
• DevOps tooling usage experience (Jenkins)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – Need the ability to work closely with Solution Design and Architecture & BA teams.
• Tools Used – JIRA, ALM
• Domain skill – Payments

Additional Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
