Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working together with key technology and business stake holders for analyzing the requirements, designing high level Test plans, Test strategies from Data and functional testing

• Working with various client/vendor stakeholders and onshore / offshore Infosys teams for the Data / Testing activities like Test case creation, execution, and defect tracking

• Support client to create utilities to increase the productivity for validation activities

• Other tasks as may be required to assist the timely execution of the program

• Creating / presenting status reports to the client as well as Infosys stakeholders

• Coordination with cross functional teams.

• Managing the project end to end delivery

• Handling the project independently

• Mentoring offshore teams on client expectations

Skills /Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience of data warehouse and database concepts.

• Hands on experience to develop test plans, and test cases specific to data integration and the enterprise’s business.

• Advanced skills with SQL queries, stored procedures, and test scripting to delete, define, load, and merge data for tests.

• In-depth understanding of ETL development tools.

• Experience testing multiple DB systems, (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgresql).

• Should be able to classify source data to identify data sets to be used for functional tests on migrated data.

• Must have good hands on Python

• Must have experience in Automating the validation scenarios

• Experience with full Software Testing Lifecycle

• Should be aware of data migration strategies for CLOUD scenarios; Azure blob storage, snowflakes DB

• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology

• Ability to work in a large team environment and communicate effectively with data engineers, database designers, and developers.

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Preferred:

• Good to have telecom domain experience

Additional Skills:

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
