We are a fast-growing company expanding across all areas of our business and now have an opportunity for an outstanding Software Tester – Automation to join our team based in our Sydney CBD Head Office.

The role: Software Tester/Automation Engineer

Objective

Primarily responsible for the testing and quality assurance for all software changes prior to release.

Reporting to: Development Manager

Responsibilities (key tasks and requirements of the role)

• Testing and Quality Assurance for all InfoTrack software changes prior to release
• Testing and Quality Assurance for all LEAP Software releases relating to InfoTrack’s Searching Integration
• Assist in post-deployment trouble-shooting and problem solving when required
• Develop test plans, test cases and automated test scripts using automated test tools
• Accurately document test results, log defects, and report results to management on daily basis
• Supporting InfoTrack’s Helpdesk with more complex client environment issues
• Performing a release as required which could require flexible hours if there are delays
• Automation for sanity tests

Knowledge and Experience (knowledge and experience required for the role)

• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting development contacts
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Java/JavaScript Framework automated testing tools
• Competent and varied IT skills an advantage
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing is a plus

Nice to haves (additional skills which are highly regarded)

• Experience working with Agile teams
• Experience with API testing
• Knowledge or experience working in the legal and conveyancing industry
