Insight Global Hiring for Clojure Developer at Remote Full Time

Insight Global is seeking a Clojure Language Programmer to join one of our Industrial Supplier clients. This is a 100% remote, long-term contract role with perm placement possible. This role will collaborate with 6 other developers and 1 team manager.

This person will be responsible for transforming business requirements into computer code using Functional Programming Languages (i.e., Clojure). In addition to writing code, this person will review and analyze code to detect errors and revise as needed. This role will be responsible for reviewing code written by others on the team for accuracy and input. The initial phase of this role will be dedicated to backend data and application development. As the role progresses, this person will shift responsibilities to predictive modeling and analytics, working closely with the BI team to implement solutions for end-users.

Their biggest need and the reason for this opening is that they need help developing data pipelines for their legacy oracle data warehouse that they will ETL (extract, transform, load) into a new a cloud environment (Azure). The goal is to have a single, scalable solution for all data in the cloud and absorb the full stack.

The ideal person for this role will have a strong development background in Clojure development and have a background or willingness to grow in a Business Intelligence environment.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
