Job Description

Summary of Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for hardware engineering test board bring-up and validation

• Develop API and GUI to integrate board sensor and external instrument control

• Responsibilities spanning all aspects of product bring-up and test: write debug and integrate new device drivers protocols and other firmware code for bench test.

• Ownership of lab automation writing programs and scripts for new device test and characterization.

• Work closely with various core tech teams and other organizations to define test procedure and specs for new prototype devices and systems.

• Work on HW validation and provide firmware/software support for hardware testing and diagnosis.

Skills:

Expert on Python PyQT GUI DLL to control lab equipment and troubleshooting

• Expert on Matlab for data analysis and report

• Familiarity with debugging tools such as PyCharm Github STM NUCLEO application

• Experience with camera FW and Image Sensor Control familiar with protocols such as SPI I2C MIPI CSI.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Able to participate in EE schematic design review

• Basic knowledge of imaging processing and image quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years experience with driver and board-level system software development

Education/Experience:
