Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, this individual will play a key role in the Financial Reporting team to assist with the preparation of quarterly and other regulatory reporting and provide support for financial reporting projects and ad-hoc requests.

What you’ll do here:
Assist with the consolidation of the monthly IT executive management presentation
Assist with investigation of variances and provide commentary as required
Assist with documentation and implementation of new processes as required
Continuous improvement of reporting such as refining metrics and visualizations
Simplifying report creation by taking advantage of opportunities to automate and streamline processes
Develop or recommend actions to raise standards and improve operational effectiveness and consistency through process, technology and/or people capability development
Identify opportunities to bring efficiencies to the financial reporting process through use of technology tools and/or elimination of redundancies
Provide support to a variety of ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
Available to work full-time for Fall 2022 (September 6th to December 16th)
Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Data visualisation, Powerpoint
Good communication (verbal & written) and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of accounting standards
Demonstrated success as a solid team player, comfortable contributing within a team of peers
Ability to multi-task in a face pace environment against challenging timelines and workload pressures
