Total Chemical Management technicians are responsible for directly working on bulk and specialized chemical and gaseous systems. Primary duties include all chemical/gas delivery systems maintenance and operations on the Leixlip site. The successful candidate will be required to work a compressed work week schedule.
In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Operating and maintaining chemical and gas delivery systems which support High Volume Manufacturing facilities.
Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on chemical, solvent and gas systems.
Utilizing quality systems, diagnosing process issues, interpreting data related to bulk chemical and gas delivery systems.
Maintaining Analytical equipment and creating the Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems)
Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software
Understanding and diagnosing analytical data using Cimplicity.
Skills:
Role modeling safety and attentive to detail, procedural requirements related to handling of hazard production materials.
Good communication skills and interacting with factory and other customers/stakeholders within a diverse organization.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a team environment and possess positive interpersonal skills.
Possess a strong personal focus on safety for themselves and those around them.
The successful candidate will be required to work Compressed Work Week shift (Front End or Back End) or Intel 7 day compressed Work Week rotating Shift based on Business need.
Intel rotating shift involves:
Day Shift Rota – 1 month / 4 weeks
Night Shift Rota – 1 month / 4 weeks
BE-FE Rota Swap – 6 monthly
Hours of work 07:00 – 19:20 and 19:00 – 07:20
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting, Plumbing, Electrical or similar.
NCEA Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronic engineering or equivalent. Minimum of FETAC level 6.
Able to lift a minimum of 30lbs and work ergonomically within in confined spaces.
Able to perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment.
Able to work from heights and climb ladders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to excel as an individual contributor and part of a team and work effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines.
Knowledge of chemical nomenclature and gases used in a semiconductor processing facility.
Knowledge and proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pumps, valves and PLC control logic.
Ability to operate a PIT (forklift, pallet jack) and spend a considerable part of your day working in a mobile environment.
