Position description
In this position, you will work as a technician in the Ultra-Pure Water area. You will be interacting with the engineering team as well as other operation technicians maintaining ultra-pure water systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating and maintaining UPW systems which support our operations facilities
Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures
Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultraviolet Light Sterilization etc.
Maintaining Analytical equipment (Preventative Excursion Management Systems) Chemical precipitation of UPW Systems
Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software
Interacting with factory and other customers and stakeholders
Role modeling safety and treatability studies of different chemical constituents feeding Industrial Water systems
Qualifications
You must possess a minimum NCEA Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation engineering or equivalent. Minimum of FETAC level 6.
Work experience within the field is beneficial.

Demonstrate efficient work methods, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to excel as an individual contributor and part of a team and work effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines.
