Job Description
The Senior Commodity Manager for the Wet Chemicals and Filters Group within the Fab Materials Organization manages the execution of the supply chain strategy. The successful candidate will ensure that Intel’s supply chain is enabled both short and long-term to meet technical requirements, operational expectations, and Intel’s cost, quality, availability, and technology growth standards. This role will involve significant operational supplier management, supplier vetting and selection, ramp and demand management, and technology design management. This position will require a rigorous degree of management coordination across environmental teams, Technology Development, Corporate Services, Corporate Quality Network, Supply Chain, Finance, and others.
As the Senior Commodity Manager for Fab Materials , you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Developing and managing internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.
Interfacing and influencing at all levels to bring different perspectives together to drive a unified long-term supply chain strategy and short-term operations execution.
Partnering with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity, and the supply ecosystem.
Leading supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management.
Coordinating purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire specialty chemicals in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Negotiating purchasing contracts, statement of works, and pricing for goods and/or services.
Driving cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
Developing new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.
Obtaining materials, components, equipment, and services as needed and identifying and securing new supply sources where suppliers are inadequate.
Acquiring and maintaining a technical understanding of products purchased and performing cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
Ph.D. in a technical field with 4+ years of experience in commercial supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.
MBA or Master’s degree in a technical field with 6+ years of experience in commercial supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 9+ years of experience in commercial supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading supplier negotiations (commercial, legal, and technical), driving complex programs and presenting execution strategies to key leadership.
