Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for the IT implementation of new stations across Canada as well as providing day-to-day IT support to all corporate users.
Main responsibilities:
Order and install all IT equipment;
Establish technological tools for new users;
Maintain the equipment and software of users’ computers;
Remedy situations during working hours or after, when necessary;
Provide and deploy new software and equipment;
Provide support and technical advice to users;
Participate in deployments of technical projects;
Plan and perform regular software updates;
Provide support to users of platforms used by operations;
Installation of networking equipment.
Skills required:
Up to 2 years of IT experience;
DEP in IT Support or Diploma in computer science, preferably;
Desktop software support;
Active Directory and Exchange account management;
Experience installing cable and network hardware required;
Antivirus software such as Webroot, McAfee, Symantec, Sophos, etc.;
Remote access software such as TeamViewer, Goto2Assist, Join.me, RDP, Citrix etc.;
ITSM software such as Remedy, Track-IT!, Heat, etc.;
Backup software like Arcserve, Backup Exec, etc.;
Fault diagnostic tools like Process Monitor, Event Viewer, etc.;
Toubleshooting skills;
Interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills;
Must understand the environments of office networks and Windows servers;
Must understand VPN, remote connectivity and network concepts in general;
Rotation of working hours
