Intercity Packers Ltd Hiring For Warehouse Shipper at Richmond, BC Full Time
About Us:

As our innovative business continues to rapidly grow, we are seeking a full time Shipper at our Richmond location. Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, the Shipper is responsible for packing, sorting, and shipping of all out-going frozen/fresh product being distributed to all customers. If you are able to work in a cooler, fast paced environment and work under pressure with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure piece count is accurate prior to shipping
- Check the loads are correct and pallets are the way they should look – quality check
- Communicate with Logistics Specialist regarding late trucks/carrier services
- Wrap pallets
Requirements:
- Forklift/Reach truck experience/certification is an asset
- Basic label making & computer skills
- Completion of high school
- Seafood product and food safe knowledge an asset
- RF scanning knowledge
- Canopy program knowledge is a benefit
- Initiative, adaptable, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
- Efficient and accurate distribution and customer service
- Comfortable working in a cooler and freezer environment
- Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm
