Reporting to the PMO lead, the successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience running construction or building sites. A knowledge of structure and fit-out is required. You will ideally be a trade qualified builder (or relevant practical experience in site management) with solid background in project management. A proven ability to foster meaningful connections with suppliers, clients, stakeholders, and senior leaders of the business. As the project manager, you will facilitate and co-ordinate the delivery of projects to ensure successful delivery of allocated projects to program and to budget while meeting all health and safety and quality parameters. The role requires a mix of but not limited to attending and running project meetings, contract administration, program development and tracking, controlling the scope of works and variations, managing the site team, cost control, claims, monthly performance reporting etc. It is a well-rounded role, involving hands on leadership and mentoring. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development skills.
This role will be in charge of delivering a range of internal and external projects up to $5 million in value.
