  PSI, an Intertek company, is searching for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Building & Construction team in our Morgan Hill, California office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!

  How you’ll make an impact at Intertek :

  Responsible for completing geotechnical engineering services on exciting projects in Northern California :

• Developing scopes of work and proposals for our clients

• Interaction and development of less experienced staff

• Coordination with various subcontractors and local agencies to complete the subsurface investigations

• Oversight of Laboratory testing and field work

• Technical oversight with Geotechnical Construction Observations during construction

  What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required

• Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred

• 5 + years’ experience in geotechnical consulting is required

• Active Engineer in the Northern California Area is required

• California PE and GE is r equired

• Experience with seismic hazards and analyses preferred
